Reno, NV – December 5 th , 2024 – Melzi Surgical (“Melzi” or the “Company”) announced today it has been awarded a national group purchasing agreement for the Melzi SharpsFinder with Premier, Inc. in the contract category of Surgical Sponge Detection Systems. Effective November 15 th , 2024, the new agreement allows Premier members, at their discretion, to take advantage of the special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for the Melzi Sharps Finer, which is a device to help OR team to search for missing sharps inside the patient’s body. The Melzi Sharps Finder has been FDA-registered and listed and used by many hospitals since 2022.
